Suppliers must not hire any workers obtained through Human Trafficking, prison labor or Forced Labor (including slave labor), or employ any physical abuse or corporal punishment. In addition, Suppliers must maintain records in the Facility where materials and products are processed, produced or manufactured that demonstrate compliance with this Supplier Code of Conduct and all applicable laws and regulations of the country where those activities take place. Upon request by Spectrum or any third party auditor, Suppliers must make those records available for inspection.
In addition, Suppliers must not commit any violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (“FCPA”) or other anti-bribery laws for the benefit of or on behalf of Spectrum and its customers. Suppliers must also reasonably assure that the tantalum, tin and tungsten in the products they sell to Spectrum are sourced from mines and smelters that do not fund armed groups engaged in conflict and human rights abuses in the Democratic Republic of Congo or neighboring countries.
